A different model than Idea Map
Family Tree keeps its own data model: partners, parent links, generations, symmetric child placement, and placeholder spouses. Exports use mode: family-tree — not graph_type — so loaders never confuse people with quiz questions.
Eight tree types, one canvas
Pick a template on the empty state: family genealogy, language family, clan lineage, noun classes, etymology, dialect maps, org charts, or knowledge domains. treeType in JSON sets starting labels and export context.
Export options
- JSON — full round-trip back into Studio.
- SQL — wenodify_documents + people rows with an export profile.
- PNG — snapshot for reports, slides, or community archives.
